How pricing works
Fern doesn't print prices, because color isn't priced off a list. Here is what sets yours, and when you see it.
What decides the price
Your price follows the length and density of your hair, the steps in your plan, the time it takes and the products it uses. A root color and a dimensional color on long hair are different afternoons. Fern quotes before she mixes anything, and the booking page shows her prices.

What the consultation covers
A first color visit begins with a consultation: your hair in daylight, your color history and what you want it to look like at week twelve. You leave with a plan, a schedule and a time estimate. When you book, you see whether the consultation is charged and whether it counts toward your service.

Deposits
Longer color services take a deposit to hold the time. The menu marks each one, and the deposit goes toward your service.
Canceling or running late
Please give 48 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment. Fern is the only stylist in the suite, so a late change leaves the time unused. With less notice she may ask for a deposit to book your next visit.
Add-ons and changes on the day
A gloss, a trim or a change to your plan on the day is agreed before Fern starts, and added to the booking you already have. You hear the change before it happens.
Tipping
Tipping is welcome and never expected. You can tip at checkout or in cash.
Gift cards and packages
Gift cards come in any amount and work on any service. Buy one from the gift card page.
