For color, yes. Fern looks at your hair in daylight and goes through your color history first. For a cut, you can book directly.

A trim takes about half an hour and a cut and finish about an hour. Color visits run from about an hour and a half to three and a half hours. Each service on the menu lists its time.

Fern works with brunette hair and with gray, wavy, straight and fine hair. Tell her about your hair when you book and bring photos to the consultation.

Photos of color you like and color you don't, and a note of anything on your hair in the last year, including box color and henna.

Longer color services take a deposit that holds the time and goes toward the service. The menu marks each one.

Please give 48 hours' notice to cancel or move. If you are running late, text Fern and she will do what fits in the time left.

Some color products ask for one before the first visit, following the maker's directions. Tell Fern if you have reacted to a hair product.

One quiet guest may wait with you. The suite is small, and Fern works alone.
